(yes, 20070129 - I got the year right this time! :-) New in this version: - A little juggling of the install docs text about libraries I don't provide (and a few other minor changes). - Update the comment in alg-lists naming algorithms we don't support but which others do. Reword some of the other comments. - Improve the formatting of some -V output (-V pktcrypt, pktwire, pktcomp, pktmac). - Improve some internal commenting. And I've saved the big one for last: - Support for zlib compression (finally!). libz is horribly under-documented; see the comment early in alg-comp-zlib.c for some ways in which this is so, some things we assume are true even though the doc does not promise them, and similar such issues. This works for me, but depending on how much your libz takes advantage of the under-specified interface spec, it may or may not work for you. (I suspect the de-facto interface spec includes most-to-all of the things I've assumed, because they're mostly necessary to actually *use* libz, so a libz that breaks them will break most libz-using code and hence won't be widespread.) /~\ The ASCII der Mouse \ / Ribbon Campaign X Against HTML mouse@rodents.montreal.qc.ca / \ Email! 7D C8 61 52 5D E7 2D 39 4E F1 31 3E E8 B3 27 4B
