I wrote in my last post about Chester, a butterfly we found in our condo on 2023-01-30.
Chester has finally passed on to whatever the next step in his journey is.
He had a long life (37 days, plus any time between emerging and our noticing). I hope it was a happy one. We tried to make it so as much as we could. And he had two people who loved him with him when he left.
I'm a little surprised at how hard it's hitting me. I don't know when I last cried this much.
